Hello everyone! My name is Zhang Feiyu, I am 11 years old now, I am a native of Shanghai, and I’ve been living in this beautiful Shanghai that I like since I was in my mother’s womb.
Today, I’d like to share with you an interesting story from my childhood. When I was 5 years old, I was still in kindergarten. One summer weekend, my grandma took me to one of the most representative landmarks in Shanghai (Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower), on the sightseeing floor of the tower, there is a transparent glass walkway. It was the first time I stood on such a high transparent walkway. When I looked down, I suddenly started howling and crying, and walked away scared. The people around me ran away and my grandma quickly took me out of the scene. After we returned home, my mother told me a new term called “”acrophobia””, it turns out children could be afraid of heights too.
It’s a pity till now at the age of 11, I’m still not rid of this symptom”
