When I was in 5th grade, our family was about to move. Before moving, I made an appointment with my friends to go to People’s Park to play. It was winter. We came to a pond there (next to the restaurant Barbarossa). We saw a lot of dead fish floating on the pond. On a whim, I picked up a tree branch on the side and went straight to fish it🐟, but accidentally slipped and fell into the big pond. I thought how miserable this was for someone who can’t swim. I didn’t expect that by leaning on the branch in my hand, I stood up as much as possible, and my head was out of the water. I remembered that the water reached my chest. I slipped, fell down to the middle of the pool, dragging a heavy winter coat, it was not easy to get back to the shore; I saw more and more people coming to watch, and there were shouts one after another, “Come on, there is a child drowning! Come and help her!” No one came to help, I just thought how embarrassed I was. A scene from a movie would happen to me… In a trance, I saw a big hand reaching out to me, finally… I was so moved at that moment, it was a young guy, he grabbed me, I tried to move up dragged my body, when I landed, I didn’t know what to say… I quickly said thank you to the kind person, and left with my friends to dry my clothes…

Quienes somos
